management trainee programme. I've applied, but whether i get on it or not i'll end up moving stores. Travelling 23 miles and back every day to work at a convenience store is not on.

That doesn't sound very convenient.

Incidentally, can you imagine the sales figures for cigs if the likes of BOB and his mates weren't about. Our local newsagent rarely has very many cigs due to the amount of duty frees on sale in the area.
