The bulbs in my house are CONSTANTLY blowing! On average 2 go a week and it's different rooms but very often my son's bedroom or the hallways (they're not on the same circuit). We're stuck with the awful energy saving ones. When you're buying 2-3 a week it gets very expensive especially when expecting them to last ten years! Since Saturday we've had three go. All standard bayonet futtings. The only one that doesn't go is the chandalier (3 bulbs) in the front room. Any ideas?

That 'flash' seems to have taken about 30 hours - and long long before that was up (in fact, not long after he'd been initially told) the OP had re-posted in the correct forum (and got plenty of responses)!
