I wonder why they haven’t given a description of the driver, like they immediately did when that white male did the same in Liverpool? I thought they were going to give details in cases like this to stop speculation?

The driver is originally from India, so says the Daily Telegraph.

There are small Jewish communities in India, minor compared to this Hindu population as are most other religions.

Most Indians I've met my way are Christians.

Police said a man in his 30s, originally from India, was detained a short time later on suspicion of attempted murder, causing serious injury through dangerous driving, inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody.

Did he hand himself in? No, they knew who they were looking for. It then took them another 10 hours to let everyone else know. Didn’t take that long to put out the details of the white male in Liverpool, did it? Any idea why they sat on that information overnight? I have.
