The plastic switch component on my tennants bathroom light switch has come off. I went to change the switch and found a lot more wires behind than I was expecting. Bit of a novice with this sort of thing but felt confident after watching a video on YouTube. Was just expecting a one way switch. The internal connections were labelled L1,N1 L2 N2. Can anyone point me towards the right kind of switch from b&q/homebase? Thanks in advance.

It is a 20A Double Pole switch.

However, the wiring looks a bit odd.

Any chance of separating the wires so we can see exactly where they go and the markings on the switch.

Thanks for replies. I think I will accept the grumpy view of flame port and get someone qualified to fix the switch. Have a good weekend all.

For the sake of the Tennant and the EICR; good choice.
I may be the only one, but I'd still be interested to hear what your electrician says about that switch! :)
