Chimney Classes

Its probably not much of a surprise but that was one of the questions on fires! They are now called "space heaters".

There was also an odd one on a fire that I have never seen or heard of before where there is a "flue terminal" just above the fire but within the chimney!

Yep for fires like the kinder rocco ,top outlet flue that can be connected to copex lineR, If not you fit special terminal directly on top of fire to stop debri falling into it.

So if a wall mounted fire was fitted and it was inside the permitted distance to the floor, is there a way round it, ie putting a hearth in below?
