Cooker switch/socket

Quickie,
what do you do if you have to replace a faulty cooker switch/socket which is directly above the cooker? - brand new kitchen and newly tiled. (The kitchen fitter or tiler has packed out switch plate with 3 rather large pieces of flammable material - wood)

tell them you're not touching it unless you can move it 2 foot to the left or right. and if they complain - tell them they should have thought about electrics before they tiled.
