By that, do you mean that without lockdown the number of deaths in the UK would be ten times greater while still being one of the highest (for population) in the world?The graphs from the first lockdown, the hospitalisations and deaths, would suggest it was an over whelming success.
The lockdown was only introduced two weeks before that date. That was quick.yes, and from their peak on 9th April, the number of deaths plummeted.
