Covid outbreak at my son's school

or people who were written off at school by narrow minded teachers who then went on to become millionaires

Im not really sure it's "narrow minded teachers"
Surely what they write on a report is determined by a pupils attendance, effort, discipline etc at the time.

These days children are "written off" because schools exclude children rather quickly.....it is a handy way to cull the poor performers that would damage their league table.
 
envy? I love my job, varied , meet different people and get a new challenge every day . plus I’m the boss and the although I kill myself for my money the majority of the people I mentioned could only dream of earning what I earn.

Teachers I know predict academic performance based on the child's name. Each town will have a cluster of surnames that get badged. We all look at life through our own lens, so an academic is going to value academia above other skills such as communication.
