Have you told the council of your intended action?

Get in to bed with them now, do what they ask and create a history between you that is amicable. That should then ease any issues with demo or pop for new build.

Also remember that if you don't act, they will and then hold a charge that you will end up paying for.

It only says "Please do not enter", not "You are forbidden from entering and will be prosecuted if you do".

If it's only personal stuff you need to remove I'd just go in early one sunday morning and fetch it.
