I have bought a Lifestyle LP241SI to replace a Lifestyle LP111. Trouble is there are only 5 wires coming out of the boiler - 2 black wires, 1 brown, 1 yellow/green (going to earth) and one blue. I have left the wires connected to the back plate so can see the brown and blue with going to N and L but really not sure how to connect the rest.

The manual suggests I need to connect 6 wires.

Would be nice to have a tad more info.

Have you got a room and/or cylinder stat, etc etc.

The two blacks will be the switching wires and go into terminals 3 and 4

The existing timer is simply connected to a Worcester Bosch 24i boiler (about 8 yrs old). The cable I am talking about is connected to the boiler.

Ideally I'd like to control heating and water with the new timer as the old one only controls heating.

Sorry for my ignorance on this but thanks for your help.

The WB 24i is a combi (instant hot water) boiler, so there is no need to control the water times.
