For such a proud nation, I found it strange that the French make it far easier to buy Belgian (or even Portuguese) beers, than their own stuff.
Funny, I was about to say I had some nice French beer, but only just Googled it, and its Belgium
The stuff call St Omar must have been French though!

The car park (about the size of a Disney one) at Mont st Michel cost me €17 for a couple of hours.
OK, maybe not all are free!
We did pay to park on the street in Wimeraux, that was about 20 for the afternoon.
Even parked for free in Le Touquet, although parked at the harbour and walked into town.
 
I read reviews saying beach car parks were all really expensive!

France is a fabulous place to eat and drink. Taking pride in locally sourced, fresh ingredients, is commonplace, even amongst basic cafés and eating places.
