i've been on this site for a little while now, and usually it is worth it's weight in gold with most of the generous, knowledgable people on here. However, i have to say that i am becoming increasingly more and more p***ed off with a certain group of people who seem to think we all want to read how good they are at arguing and to see how macho they are.

I won't name names, but time after time there will be a post about .. err.. say .. butterflies, and before you know it, a certain group of people are on page 4 of why person A couldn't grow a buddlea if it grew out of their @rse!!

I'm sick of it to be honest... firstly it is against the rules (wait for smart comments about rules and how it's clever to break them), secondly, it is downright rude..... and thirdly it is soooo effing boring having to endure your rows.....

If you want to hate each other, go and do it elsewhere. ffs !

And finally, moderators, please get your act together and sort this site out. It is, in the main, a great site... but if you got tough with these numpties, it could be even better...

Yes, I entirely agree. Of course, the majority who post questions and make comments,are courteous and considerate people but, unfortunately, this site does have one or two commentators of quite juvenile intellect and to whom, malice and discourtesy towards others seems to be the sole purpose of their postings. Regrettably, we have to live with their puerile postings and must accept, and feel sad, that their venom is the product of a cowardly character, hiding behind the anonymity which this forum affords.

There are some very knowledgeable and helpful people on here, who give up their free time to help others.

Then, I'm afraid there are a few whose sole aim seems to be to make as many posts as they can. To them, having 20,000 posts to their name seems to be a badge of honour, and gives them the mis-placed feeling of having achieved something, when really they are just some saddo who sits for hours on end, staring into a screen, obsessed with forums as they give an outlet to their pointless twaddle. Pointless twaddle that would not be aired or taken notice of anywhere else. Meaningless, banal bickering and arguments with other like/small-minded saddoes is probably the only excitement they get, apart from truck racing on Sky.

When posting, remember - 'quality not quantity' & 'less is more'.

I have been dragged into pointless arguments with the type of person described above, but don't fall into their trap any more. If you recognize yourself as one of these people, it's not too late to change!

Why Softus and Shytalkz are being implicated is beyond me. They do make lots of useful contributions. As for Joe-90 - well if the cap fits!

This is the general discussion forum, anyone who wants to ask questions would be better doing so in one of the specialised forums. If people find certain threads boring it's easy enough not to read them, why do some people want to censor other posters whom they don't like reading? Perhaps the other posters don't like reading the would be censors posts.
