I'm looking for an electric saw, but not a chain saw, for garden work.

Which is the best type and a decent mid-range brand?

As above, make sure you get the right green wood blades for it, big aggressive teeth.

Just seen these, never knew they were a thing.
Curved blades are the way to go for speed and efficiency on branches and small logs.
