fence post spike - stupid question alert!

Hi All,

As the title says this may be a stupid question but I've got a garden arch which has 70mm x 70mm posts.

I want to use a fence spike to secure it in the ground but can only find them in a 75mm x 75mm size?

They've got the bolting mechanism to tighten but will that spike work for that size post? Can't find any 70mm spikes.

It's unlikely the ground spike will take up that much.....add slips of tanalised timber or even plastic shims to take up the slack.
