None. I have seen quite a few re-makes and always been disappointed with the result.

Oh I don't know the "remake" of the original attempt at the Lord of the Rings by Peter Jackson was infinitely better than the original pathetic effort.

Certainly not all genres are for all people, but even if you're not into it anyone who wasn't deaf and blind would be able to appreciate the difference.

Personally I can't stand films about personal relationships, god they're dull. Doesn't help if you don't like people much I suppose.

I admit I did enjoy watching the BBC series of Merlin after the second attempt at watching.
The same with Les Miserable'. Couldn't understand it the first time round so put the subtitles up the next time and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the 'musical' version by the way, not the simple spoken one. I thought that was quite tedious.
