Hi All

I have a Golf HBL mower which has eaten it's air filter - it appears to have been sucked into the engine

I can't find a supplier online, do you have any idea where I could get a replacement foam filter? Is there a generic foam I could cut to size and oil? It is much thicker than a normal filter - approx 40x40x150mm.

Thanks in advance

We had a dog at one time, that chewed used trailer bushings. Cheaper than those rubber balls, that he kept loosing

Any foam will do, if it starts to splutter, try a different sponge

Just keep an eye on it, may have been stolen?

The engine reminds me of a MK1 Briggs and Stratton. Is there not an name plate on the very top of the engine (last picture).

I don't recognise this one, but my guess would be that its an early Tecumseh engine.
If I have to make air filters, I buy a foam one suitable for a Peugeot 205 diesel......although its round, the material can be cut to shape.
John :)
