gap around plug sockets..

Mostly in the middle part of the tiles. Best to cover with grout? Could just leave them but worried about safety.

A big slab of grout is the only option.
Too late now - but bevel edge tiles are really not a suitable choice where electrical accessories are to be fitted onto them.
 
if you remove the socket first, and wrap it in clingfilm, you can press the grout in tightly and it will not stick the socket in place

make sure it is perfectly level....
 
Yes. Pet hate is sockets etc that have been grouted/painted/polyfillaed into place. It always causes a big mess when they need to be removed.

Good tip with the cling film Jd!

I use a run of toothpaste ( not the stripey one). Very effective and always to hand.
