Gas Hob - Flexible Hose Question

What does the MI say , if your gas safe you should already know the answer!!!

The hose you are looking at is for a cooker not a hob?????

If the MI's state that a hose conforming to bs669-1 can be used then that's fine.(might want to consider it's suitability dependent what's under it)

Hoses are hoses,it's just the release connection that is different.

its not allowed unless your installer can prove its allowed.

Can I use a flexible hose to connect my gas hob?

The simple answer is that YOU cannot fit any gas carrying part unless you are gas registered.

For obvious safety reasons!

You started off by putting your foot in it by suggesting that a flexible hose is suitable for connecting a hob. All because you saw one advertised!
