Have they got the meter wired in reverse?? i.e. the incomer is connected to the customer side of the meter!!!

just had another look, The Isolator 1 is connected to the 'tails' via a 30A junction box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)

skenk, I am sorry, matey!

You posted at the same time I did. My "Nope." was directed at oharaf.

You are right and wrong!!

It is a JB attached to the 100A tails, but it's not 30A, it's 20....

The tails leave the cutout, drop off at the meter, out into the switchfuse, where a pair leave the switchfuse en-route to a landlord's CU. Part way there they are jointed.

Good job the LL CU is incrediby lightly loaded, really.

I did not dare open it up, but would have been intrigued to see how they terminated the conductors!!

Cut off all but two strands, no doubt....even more

To the others, yes, there are many points like undersized conductors. I only went to replace an imm htr sw & butyl flex for one of the flats & found that lot!!

What a heap of old spaghetti...

No, they're not!!

I said 100A tails, which was a tad misleading. What I meant was tails that were connected to a 100A supply.

Think so. But they have 80A fuses in.

To my mind, there should be 25mm² on the mains side of these switchfuses.

im not a sparky but even my eye spotted that the bottom board was missing out the meters, you lot must be getting slow with your age lol. Either that or i have seen this somewhere else before

My question is tho, surely someone must come and read the meters? Are they not trained to pick up on this sort of thing?

Looks wasteful - surely a 5A multiblock would have been a better choice!

Erm, the bottom board is fed via the two henleys on the RHS, which are fed from the right meter.
