Of course Himmy, of course.It wouldn't be a difficult thing to do if they wanted. Outside of special occasions which swell numbers, and large venues, most ministers presiding over a service can probably look out and produce a pretty accurate count. Counts then just need to be reported up through layers of hierarchy, aggregating as they go.

I've never seen anyone counting heads in any church in the world.
Anyone who attends church on Easter Sunday is in a small minority of the country. which is fine, it doesn't matter to me in the slightest.
