But the Alien Quadrilogy for £29.99 from Woolies too good an offer to miss...

P.S. Maybe I should mention I have bought 4 other titles this week.

And just saying that they were all on offer at less than £8 doesn't help does it? An O'holic just finds ways to justify his addiction...

But it would have been rude not too! :D

Just came across this one. I was wondering, is "quadrilogy" really the correct term? :? I know that is what everyone has been calling it, but "Trilogy" is fully Greek in origin. "Quad" is of Latin origin, so "Quadrilogy" is a total b*stardisation of all three languages.

Plus the word just doesn't sound right. "Quadra" works, but "Quadri" just doesn't. :P

I believe "Tetralogy" would be the correct term. It sounds right, it works off an English tongue, and it is keeping the Greek roots of the word. If we get a fifth one, "Pentalogy".

Think about it, you would call a Pentathlon a "Quintathlon", and that is effectively the same thing i.e. Latin prefix to a Greek word.

I really must get this pedant's hat surgically removed
