This is getting a little bit frustrating to be honest, im trying to figure out how much gas im using, but cant quite get the hang of it. The meters an old style Imperial type. Looks like this.

I took 4 different readings over 4 hours-:

Hour 1 = 1377.1
Hour 2 = 1378.4
Hour 3 = 1379.4
Hour 4 = 1380.5

The number after the decimal point was the one in RED, which im pretty sure doesnt count, but i put it down just incase.

Maybe iv got it wrong, but am i using about 100 cubic feet per hour???
And how does that equate to KW/h???
And the red number after the decimal point, is that a measure in 1's, 10's or 100's of cubic???

Any help please????

given that it shows the other 0, just read all the numbers and include the 0 at the end.. that's right then..

ie you reading of 1380.5 would actually be 138050

all the black numbers are whole cubic feet the red are fractions or less than a whole
