I visited the local branch of a national stationers the other day. On one shelf I saw this:

    password book.jpg

It's called a Password Keeper. The combination lock is a dummy; there's just an elastic band to keep it closed.

    Doh!!

They also sell other products to do the same job. Makes you wonder what their own system security is like.

A couple of years ago, a security guy was going on about passwords, and R5L, IIRC.

Having individual passwords was a main principle of good online security.
An electronic / virtual "password keeper" was recommended as a good solution to the problem of forgetting many different passwords.
Failing that though, he did advocate writing all of your passwords down, on the basis that online fraudsters are not the sort to physically burgle houses.......

  7. You should also keep a list of your online accounts and the passwords, alongside your will. Maybe that's what the password keepers really for, but they're being sensitive in not spelling it out.

It is virtual reality. FFS you will have to drill a 1/4" hole and put a pad lock on it.

I still think my car gives more miles per gallon than it does with 1 liter of fuel, so i am sticking to gallons.
Here is a proof: 60 liters gives me about 350 overall miles on a full tank, but i get the same if I fill around 13 gallons. So obviously gallons are better and gives you more per unit.

Aah! so i get it, there was a catch somewhere, I knew it, you can't get something for nothing. So that means if we leave EU, there is a catch.
