However, if one is talking about lamps with beam angles of 40°, 50° or even 60°, it is hardly correct,or reasonable, to describe or think of them as 'spots'.Spots are not really for general lighting. Yes bouncing light off the walls it can be done but if you want general light they are not the way to do it.
