Comments use to just say we didn't have a constitution. Feeling left out we seem to have decided there is oneUK law is based on interpretation/precedent/convention/parliamentary decree...
Thus no written constitution = no actual absolute rights in UK law!
My feeling is that use of the word was by none gov brexit supporters or by those in private situations talking to supporters etc. As a result gov uk links now come up saying we have one. I suppose it's a nice simple word to use but for all countries it's a bit more complicated than that.
My main beef about Brexit is techniques used and over simplification., An ever increasing problem with modern western democracies. That made worse via mass media where yet more get an oar in. I frown on the usual strings been pulled that are known to be effective being pulled as well - nationalism and racial aspects. The world is too complex for one and on the other wonder about various bits of gov's aims and ;legislation that recognise it as a problem. The fact that some thought they voted for a party that would cease doing that sort of thing were clearly mislead as they wont stop.
