I lost £25k because it went to the wrong account?

I cannot believe it, I was being paid £25k but because someone put a wrong digit in, the money has gone to someone elses account.

Any suggestions how I can get this back please?

Sue the bank, they're supposed to check. Then you get your money and everbody's happy

The sender has to contact their bank and get them to correct the payment. The sender is still responsible for making the payment to the correct account.
