Roy Wood is one of my all-time favourite rockers, but who knew he was a member of UKIP and the Brexit Party? It all makes sense.

Here he is talking to our next Prime Minister, Nigel Farage.

Time for a new referendum, one where the terms of a sensible trade deal can actually be put to the public

I accepted the vote and see no reason to go through all that again, what is done is done and there is no turning back. Only those that never accepted the vote want to reverse it.

I was disapointed with the result, at the time I worked in an European body so I know that no EU country was completely happy with the EU rules, Reg's and management, some more so than the EU, I have accepted it and have to agree with HM. It really is time to stop whinging and get on with getting the UK working again. The UK has (had?) the beneifits of the Commonwealth to work with (and that extent we do (did) seem to getting closer to OZ & NZ even if I'm surprised with India's attitude to the UK and their cosying up to Russia).

We, the population of the UK need to become proud and pleased to support the UK - 'Buy British' springs to mind. Sadly I don't think it will occur under this present government...

Buy British meat was a slogan I recall

As the farmers were driving around in there foreign cars.

Then they moaned about losing all the Brexit advantages.

That's just 1 sector.

Personally now we are out we have got to make the best of it. There is no way we will get back the power and the terms that we had.

But we have to face facts and accept that we made it much much harder for ourselves.

Just look at all the tangible benefits if you disagree

Only another 40 years or so to go though to get them

"In a referendum in 1975 the UK electorate voted to stay in the EEC under renegotiated terms of entry."

Glad to hear you support UKs decision to be a member.

The loonies don't respect the will of the people of the UK, it was voted for so accept it and deal with it. No turning back, no regretts just a better future.
Highway Mam voted for Brexit “cos it made me smile”
Highway Mam voted for Boris “cos he made me smile”
Highway Mam votes for Farage “cos he made me smile”

Do you have a thought in your head…..

I guess the loonies you are referring to are the old gammon RWR. The will of the people for you boyo, read and weep.....

Nine years after the UK voted to leave the European Union in June 2016, a clear majority of Britons believe Brexit has been a failure and that it was the wrong decision. This sentiment has strengthened over time, though opinions remain deeply polarized along demographic and political lines.

Key Polling Sentiments

  • Wrong Decision: Recent YouGov polling shows that 56% of the public think the UK was wrong to vote to leave the EU, while only 31% still believe it was the right decision.
  • Perceived Failure: Around 61% of Britons view Brexit as having been "more of a failure than a success". Only 13% see it as a success, and 20% view it as neither.
  • "Bregret": The public sentiment has been widely described as "Bregretful". This regret is particularly high among younger generations, while older voters tend to be less likely to change their minds.
  • Desire to Rejoin: A majority (56%) of Britons would support rejoining the EU. However, this is not seen as an immediate priority for the current government, with political leaders largely avoiding the topic of re-entry.
