Ideal Mexico 2 boiler does not ignite

Hi,

My 'Ideal Mexico2' boiler does not ignite at all but the C27 working good. The boiler seem to have the same kind of noise, like when it was working. However, i open up the casing and found that there is no fire. Does anyone have this experience before? Will it be a simple straight forwad diy?

Boilers burn gas and all work on gas has to be done by a gas registered person.

We are not allowed to give DIY gas work advice on this forum.

Call a boiler engineer!

I tried to get the pilot light on by following the instructions on the panel, but i don't see any light. Could it be the pilot light that causes it?

I have not seen your boiler.

If you cannot light the pilot light then you need an engineer!
