Ideal response 120 boiler - burner problems

Can anyone help me, please?

The pressure on my boiler is a healthy 1.5 - 2.0. The mains light is on, the central heating light is on - but the burner won't ignite.

If anyone's kind enough to give me advice, please take note that I'm a complete DIY numpty, so need things spelt out v.e.r.y s.i.m.p.l.y !

Ill spell it out simply
THESE BOILERS ARE COMPLICATED BITS OF KIT PHONE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!
Ideal do a fixed price of £220 inc parts and labour.
Or call a local RGI in there could be numerous things causing this not to light and they are not for the DIYer to try
