Identification Help - What is it???

[yayacity]

13 1/4" long
1 1/4" wide
5/8" thick
It weighs 14 ounces.

On one side is "MACBETH - B9".
On the other is "MADE IN U.S.A."

I found it in a field in Houston, TX in 1977.
I've been using it as a paperweight to hold books open.

A quick search and its a part from one of These (.pdf format)

Lookslike macbeth products are all to do with lighting, prisms, colour filters etc...

So Spark was right.
