Guess what. Just doing up a bush today with a normal spanner and this happened

I've noticed 20 mm bushes seem to be getting smaller, the hexagonal bit doesn't seem to cover a 20 mm hole very well, and in some cases I've had to use a 'banjo' to get a decent hold.

Or the wholesaler is getting rubbish ones.
 
Not only isn't there a lot of metal, the fracture surface doesn't look a lot like "brass" to me. I guess a lot will be some chinese rubbish with whatever cheap alloy they have to hand on the day :roll:
