Intergas Boiers???????????????

Sister has just bought 10 cubic meters of mixed logs for £300 they are just stacking them into the log store to season.... It was an ill wind that blew folk with log fired boilers lots of good.. Gassification units simply burn the logs so hot that they burn producing less smoke.... The heat is then stored in large insulated tanks of water for use for heating radiators or hot water at your leisure

Ive just been on a screw fix forum and its been said that you do not need to power flush with an intergas boiler, can this be true??????

They are certainly a lot more friendly than most other boilers with tiny water ways, but even so I would fit a magnclean as a minimum.

With these boilers all you need to worry about is the pump and the system itself. If it is not too dirty, save your money. If you have rads with cold spots or system water that looks like oil, then get it flushed. Always fit a Magnetic filter of some kind.

yeh, powerflush is not esselical with an intergas. a simple flush and inhibitor will do most systems. even a filter is not a must. I rarely fit filters now and my power-flushing machine is used once every blue moon

Thank you gentlemen,im going for an intergas boiler as i like the sound of them and i can get my head round them!!!!

Probably put new rads in too as this house is 80 yr old!!!!!

Gotta find me an intergas fitter now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Liam.
