The problem liberal western society faces is there are extremist nutters that take advantage of liberal western values - this doesnt mean we curtail liberal western values - we need to face up to these nutters.
My religion is better than your religion or laissez faire free market capitalism, we need to find a better balance as these forces are tearing societies apart.
