iv brought a second hand light

Hi iv picked up a second hand light the only thing is there is 3 clear wires on closer inspection one has a blue strip in anther has a greeny yellow strip and the last has nothing that I can see can someone help???

Not really.

Logically the colours may seem obvious but there is no telling what someone else may have done.

You will have to determine which wire goes where.
Either by testing or just looking.

As asked here is a photo the wire on the left has a greeny yellow strand and on the right has the blue strand and the centre has nothing??

You need a continuity tester to be certain. Do you have one?

No don't have a continuity tester were would I get one from or could I get it tested some were? Thanks

A cheap digital multimeter from Maplin or the like would suffice.

Rewire it, then you'll know it's OK.
