IF something were to happen, and I could not for SOME reason use the phone and I needed help from the police or ambulance or paramedics or ....whoever...I think that I would email a close friend....but knowing that might take some time ...like when in the world would they open their mail???....I dont think I would post on a forum...even this one..for some obvious reasons...like how many mick taking posts would it take for one of you guys to know I was serious...I could be unconsciencious by then...plus the abuse I would have to suffer, because I dont "get" your humour...that would be irony I could do without 
Plus...a big factor is the 6 hour time difference...at 6pm here...some (if not all) of you are into your gallon of lager...so who knows who you would dial..
Naw.....I would aim for the phone and hope for the best....
Besides....how long would it take you to look up the country code, phone the number....and hope that you have right folks at the right place...I have speed dial...I couldnt even recall the numbers if I needed to.
