Well lost is not quite the word

And it was hundreds of miles away

Than again the Falklands ;)
Lost is exactly the right word.

Let's not mention the Falklands until 2023 when we have an air wing to put on our carriers.

We lost, not a great precedent.

Well, three not great precedents.

Yeah but that loss led to our conceding to 200 miles of territorial waters, that may have restricted our access to Icelandic waters, still gives us the upper hand with europe.

Yes it will, but only those that have agreements via fisheries agreements and not those with bought contracts. They will remain the same.

So why are Barnier and the french kicking off about it then?

It's an argument about those with existing rights to fish and the sovereignty of the boats, the nationality of those aboard and where the fish is docked.

It's a complicated mess that needs sorting by sensible negotiators.

Nonsense.

Yes, in court via expensive litigation.

And at sea

Navy has been briefed and may well be asked to intervene to stop Confrontations

Also French government have a history of attacking civilian boats

They cannot be trusted

If you think we came out better from any of them please, explain how.

Let's not mention it because we don't have any aircraft carriers with planes at the moment so would be hard pressed to repeat it.
