I am not referring to catching the bus to school each day. I'm referring to some of the world's oldest and greatest civilisations.
Try visiting Machu Picchu, or some of the Aztec cities, or maybe study a little of the Roman civilisation, or the Persians, or the Chinese (especially the glass walkway), or the Greeks, or visit some of the sites in Egypt, or perhaps the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia, or the urn burial sites in Laos.
Then come back and tell us that Asia cannot innovate or create anything worthwhile.

Once you have seen one set of ruins, you have seen them all.
