Refugees are not required to seek asylum in the first safe country they reach. But under EU law they can sometimes be returned to the first safe EU country they reached.

Frankly I don't think Rwanda can cope with numbers and would guess that cases will rule it out.

The near immediate fall in deportation numbers post Labour - funding cuts are bound to figure somewhere. Perhaps they should privatise the job. The slave trade lot would probably be interested maybe prostitute smugglers as well.

Tbf they are the easy pickings. Anyone sneaking in and working on the black market really wont get far with a claim. The harder ones are those who migrate for economic reasons, arrive courtesy of a French warship escort and hand over to RNLI migrant taxi service and then claim asylum on the basis they are homosexual Muslims who are at risk of persecution or simply they are in the wrong gang.
Jeez on that basis there are plenty of poor London kids who could apply for asylum.

The fact is genuine ones will find economic benefit here. It's a very blurred subject and the majority come from areas that have problems.
You would be more accurate if you suggested that they gp back, form an army and sort it out. Instead you pick odd examples that hit the news. People assumptions also figure - the word they meaning all.

Look at it another way.. Do you think the increase in the number from Albania represents an increase in genuine asylum claims? Suggesting that something new is happening in Albania to increase persecution or do you think it might be due to the better establishment of criminal support? Or simply the word is getting out that post Brexit Britain is the land of milk and honey? Of course it could be a combo.
