Hi, does anyone have or use a log cutter, (other than an axe) we are looking for a good quality, effective one for home use, good on price. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks

Hi, Sorry yes a log splitter.
Mate of mine made one to run off his lister powered dump truck. All you need is a hydraulic ran, some angle iron and a powerpack.
Never used a commertially avilable diy splitter but I expect its a case of the cheap ones beeing pooh, and the decent ones been too pricey to be economical unless you splitting them for money or heating a mansion!
