I’ve actually never said what I earn, but I accept I’ve given broad guidance.

I have expensive hobbies and life is about enjoying yourself.

I’m not really motivated to earn more at the moment. The nominal tax rate makes it unattractive.

I’ll probably stop next year.

Why try to earn more? You never know how much you are going to need. The goal was always earn a lot and stop young, which I pretty much did before Covid, just working the off season months. My divorce set me back a little and with lock down I went back full time. I’m pretty much caught up now.

Everyone should strive to earn their potential. Otherwise what’s the point. You’re just short changing yourself.

Norway plus was in the Single Market, not in Customs Union.

It is possible in the future U.K. may head towards something like that…..I suspect what happens to Ukraine might influence the shape of the EU.

With Trumps isolationist approach (and siding with Putin) U.K. and EU are growing closer in defence and security…..which I think is a good thing.
