Hardly answers the question does it? try again.

So, had no action been taken, how many would have died?

You answered your own question, lots.

I don't know if you have a body count in mind for having some sort of lockdown, or if you think 500,000 would be fine.

Of course, with half a million dead I'm sure we'd all still be enjoying our concerts and cinema visits and the economy would be ticking over nicely.

The idiot who predicted half a million deaths has a track record of overstating likely outcomes by a factor of ten, that's a fact, you don't like facts do you.

Oh thank **** for that! Covid-19 is already over? We've had over 50k deaths thanks to it so far, which means it won't kill any more people.

You're also doubly an idiot as that was the prediction for doing nothing.

As I pointed out.

Neil Ferguson, advisor to the Govt at the time predicted half a million deaths without lockdown.

Perhaps English isn't your first language.
Yes, I'll slow down for you.

If he's supposed to over estimate the death count by a factor of ten, then his estimate for a worst case (500,000) would result in 50,000. Since we've already lost 50,000 to Covid-19, under the medium case scenario of doing something but a bit late, that means we're already done! Heck we were probably done a few months ago.

Or in shorter words, make your mind up.

I've not been following the anti-lockdown riots.

Did the police run away like they did at the BLM riots; or did they stand and watch as they did at the statue pulling-down incidents?

Neither, the full force of the law was deployed.(n)

41,988 according to Govt figures updated today. You really really don't like facts do you?

I believe that figure includes the 17 today whose deaths were attributed to Covid. The normal UK death rate is over 1300 per day.

That's today, after months of lockdown and safety measures.

What's going to happen if this virus infects as many as it seems to be now doing? Will the doubters only be happy if we go back to the thousands of excess deaths that we had back in April/May?

And all the other fools kow towing to this nonsense.
