Any sources? Appreciate it’s not easy to proveMany are being paid by the Russians. They see it as a way to disrupt the EU.

Someone with a right to work, gets a CBT a scooter and a deliveroo card and takes 20% of the illegals earrings, while some fat tw@t orders McDonald’s for breakfast in bed.^^ Just that. Did you not see that programme where loads of uber/just eat/deliveroo bikes are parked outside migrant hotels with all the migrants getting on them to go to work?
It's the new slavery angle. At least with Uber you have a roof over your head and air conditioning.Someone with a right to work, gets a CBT a scooter and a deliveroo card and takes 20% of the illegals earrings, while some fat tw@t orders McDonald’s for breakfast in bed.

It is worse than them just delivering food, they are making it in the hotel kitchens, they are running burger businesses from the hotels and also getting paid by deliveroo etc to deliver them. Unbelievable but true

Here on assylum and not allowed to work and paid money each week from the government, so instead take that, free accomadation and run a business on the side with no expense other than once again the government paying all of the hotel kitchen bills and no doubt the food produce too. Yes certainly puts us to shame alright.Obviously, I know they're here illegally. But the vast majority are probably hard working types with a lot of gumption. Puts many of the locals to shame.

Not a great candidate for an assylum claim. Already willing to break our laws.I don't know how the racket works and clearly it is wrong. I was making a broader point that most of these people aren't bone idle spongers who just want to live on benefits, like some of the media allege. I am not saying they are the mythical doctors and dentists which some mock. But they might be the sort of people who would make a positive contribution rather than us spending billions of pounds each year hobbling them.

I don’t agree.Obviously, I know they're here illegally. But the vast majority are probably hard working types with a lot of gumption. Puts many of the locals to shame.

I'm not up to date with the rules. Is there anything in place stopping them working in the black economy. Are they monitored in any way.

Quite, ID cards make sense for many purposes. The point of the black economy is that the government don't know any specific details about it![]()
But they are breaking the law. Would you argue that for the criminals that take money to put them in a dinghy to get over here? You could argue that it shows entrepreneurship and a good work ethic.
