Behind closed doors matches, wouldn't resolve the problem as these people don't need a match to arrange a scuffle.


Saftey, No. 1 priority, or so i am told, put the game behind closed doors,then no one can get hurt.

If the clowns are still at it, then it will lessen the impact on innocents getting hurt, yes, others will suffer by not seeing the game live, but they will be alive.
I know the club will suffer, so what, things like nightclubs get shut down for a lot less violence.
They obviously didn't pay for enough coppers, but the man who gets paid for running the operations, ie, planning and manning, should be gone.

I hate football anyway.

Libby, your not a football supporter but you have an opinion which is fair enough.

The hatred between these 2 clubs goes along way back and you might want to eduacate yourself before posting.

There were a lot of non-supporters of either team who wanted trouble (no true fans would want what had happened). You have to target the morons who have no problem bringing their club into the gutter.

Coljack must have made the most idiotic comment as to disband a club based of a few mindless idiots.

Tensions can run high at a game like this, and target the the thugs who have caused the trouble. How can the police even begin to deal with it?
