But, their factories closed too!

Exactly, and we copied them. Why?

We shouldn't be copying China; China is a country that copies us.

We have let the world's backward and barbaric countries get the upper hand. Note the word let. Our duty in the past was to keep these countries down, and not let them run riot. We did a good job of it too.

that's what happened in UK in 2020

also the crematoria were overwhelmed and couldn't cope with the demand

Covid deniers with no real-life experience of these things can't grasp it.

As a percentage of factories in china, they closed a very low percentage.

How many were closed out of the total?

I used 7 Chinese factories, there's been major delays and closures across the board.

There have been power shortages that meant they closed quite a few factories, but closures due to covid were regional. They closed entire regions worth of factories, but because of the size of china, the actual percentage of factories closed was quite small.

However, China regions tend to specialise so it may well be that all the factories that you deal with were in the same region, depending on what you buy.

Our Chinese suppliers weren't really affected.

In some areas orders from China were curtailed due to covid in the country they were going to. Once things had cleared more there were lots of back orders to fill. Shortages and price increases etc even on shipping. Availability figures as usual.

It would seem that 200 a day are dieing if this covid in Hong Kong ???

760000 cases reported since the end of December ??

I think it's kicked off in Korea again. Brief mention on the news.

Could be on it's way here too. 7 day figures 11.5k into hospital up 2k from the 7 before. No info I have seen yet of how many actually in. I have heard reports of postponed none critical hospital work.

Had a doc round at the weekend, he said things are still OK he, managing easily, but cases have risen. To be expected as we no longer have to wear masks etc.

Can't find the figure for uk , covid as main/principal cause of death...
Can anyone find it?
Has it gone?

Not interested in people dying who happen to have tested + in last 28 days!! (that's ~100/day)

Given that statement which indicates you prefer insanely simplistic views there would be no point in answering.

No need to display your senility yet again. Odd that you do it so freely and frequently.

Tell me, oh great judgmental one, what is wrong with wanting to know how many people here covid is killing at the moment?

Try to answer without the disjointed rambling of your usual posts?
