Motorway Cameras ???/

just noted the title !!
cameras over the gantrees if not blue will be ANPR

i think the blue ones are traffic link (or whatever they are called now) to monitor congestion.

cameras on standalone poles high up are normally motorway cameras and monitored and controlled by police control rooms

OK then just spoken to my mate and he says they are not speed vans as they have to be clearly marked if they are !!!!

how do you see the markings when they are hid behind bushes.

Passed a speed trap today. Two geezers in hi-vis jackets hiding in hedgerow pointing camera at me. Could not resist stopping and reminding them that as they were not visible from 60m away, and had no reason to suspect that I was exceeding the limit, that any conviction they hoped to press for would be impossible to secure in court.........
