My Prediction

Theresa May is a shambles, but whether she stays or goes depends on so many factors that anythings up for grabs. But would Corby get in next time, I doubt it, as they'll pick his economics to shreds; it now seems as though student debts are set to rise to £200m by 2020.

The Grenfel tower was clad to increase it's heat retention, and that was pushed from the Blair/Brown govenment, and it has become an overiding imperative.

Apparently, the cladding was signed off by building control, and was up to spec, even though it was the cheapest one going, so building regs need upgrading

The cab driver whos fridge exploded (and I can't think why it would have) seems to have left the front door open, so the fire seems to have got into the stair well, as well as up the outside.

But from everything I've read to date; the high number of deaths will get put down to the insistance of the fire services for people to stay in their flats, and for the delay of the fire brigade on the scene to reverse that thinking, because by the time they decided to, it was too late for those who could have got out earlier.

The builder who did the cladding will very likely emigrate, as he'll never get work again in this country; that's unless someone decides to torch his place in revenge before he goes.

Kensington and Chelsea were, and are still useless at organising a p**s up in a brewery, and should have organised the homeless far better than they have, and the police (not the government) should have set up an emergency contact and information centre, rather than leave the relatives to go from hospital to hospital, but it was stupid of the relatives to keep blaming the government, so that suggests political styte stirring, because for someone to call TM a muderer isn't sensible under any circumstances.

the Ragmail pushes Theresa towards the side....

"However, a Survation poll for this newspaper found that more than two thirds of voters – 69 per cent – support Mr Hammond’s soft Brexit approach. There is also strong opposition to Mrs May’s declaration that ‘no deal is better than a bad deal’, with 65 per cent calling for the UK to leave the EU with some form of agreement in place. And there is now a majority in favour of holding a second referendum to approve the Brexit deal."

Who cares what the daily wail says apart from you who appears to read it & then whinge or gripe about it at every opportunity.

buy or read another paper ffs

"Crisis management at disasters around the world swings into action at varying speeds. But even in remote areas, international bodies have normally set up obvious local centres of support fairly soon after the event.

It has not happened in North Kensington.

Twenty-four hours after the 2010 Haitian earthquake, I arrived to find no international response to speak of.

But within another 24 hours that response was arriving and was significant there three days after the disaster - teams from around the world flying in, crisis centres and the United Nations in control of feeding points and housing solutions.

Yes, there were problems. There always are. But the centralised and visible response was in place days later in a relatively remote area.

That is what appears to be missing in the richest borough in one of the world's leading cities. "

What does Kensington and Chelsea have to do to bring itself up to the standards of Haiti?
The council were in the process of helping the victims by sorting their accommodation and emergency payments but the council offices were cleared when a mob of aggressive left wing thugs smashed their way in..... Silly johnD

There have been incidences of refrigeration equipment exploding. It is rare but it seems to be linked with equipment charged with R600 refrigerant developing leaks and the refrigerant igniting from an electrical spark.. oh?... What is R600?....Butane. Now Google the new automotive refrigerant, Hfo1234yf, check out what the safety data sheet says... The ementalviralists have gone as mad as JohnD
