New rented accommodation seems unsafe.

I have just been to see my son's new rented property to measure the space for a washing machine, when I noticed there was no plug socked. I looked under the sink kick board and found the attached.

Looks like the cooker and hood are plugged into it with a spare socket for the washing machine. I don't know much about electrics but it doesn't look safe to me. He is contacting the letting agency tomorrow. What can he say to get it fixed as soon as possible? Thanks

Doesn’t look right imo. Who spat their dummy out? :LOL:
 
single insulation outside of plug...plug not sitting in adapter properly, socket faceplate not screwed back properly, and i dont even want to start about loadings
