Come on guys, there must be some out there. I was at a friends house and in the kitchen she had two twin fluorescent fittings with curved decorative shades. Only about 3 foot long, but they were nice fittings and gave plenty of light. Searching online reveals only CFL/PLC type fittings. I'm after proper tubes that come to full brightness nearly straight away!

Get yourself a Thorn and Fitzgerald catalouge. There is a huge range. The wholesalers only stock the bogs.

The shade curves only in the long axis.
or is it the other wayoops, I read it as "Thorn and Fitzgerald" rather than "Thorn" and "Fitzgerald" hence why i couldnt find it! useful places to know about though, thanks.Didnt you ever hear of Google
