Well, we've got the vaccine anyway, the EU haven't done quite as well, Germany have 400,000 doses, but might not see any more till next summer. by the weekend we will have vaccinated 500,000 people.
It gets better.
Germany turned down 500 million doses from Pfizer preferring instead to show solidarity by buying 300 million doses from French company Sanofi, despite Sanofi's early trials not looking as promising as other companies.
The EU didn't place any concrete orders until mid November.

The virus will keep going on and on, tiers upon tiers, mutations upon mutations - because, as long as it does, Pfizer and all the other vested interests will be quids in.
