The big problem is the truck lane. The truck lane does 58 - the middle lane would do about 88 - that's 30mph differential - and that is dangerous.

And this is exactly what is occurring on our motorways at this present time.
According to you Joe, there must be mass pile-ups occurring on a daily or even hourly basis then, no?

Nope - just had a look on BBC travel and there is no mass carnage.

80mph speed limit? Don't make me larf people have been exceeding the 70mph for years, 80 is mandatory now ask any traffic rozzer.
